Mr. Nolen is a Managing Director of Signal. He is currently a board member of ABB Holdco, Inc., Infotrieve, Inc. and The Robbins Company. Mr. Nolen specializes in analyzing the marketing and sales capabilities of investment opportunities and, on an on-going basis, of our portfolio companies.

Before joining Signal, Mr. Nolen was a brand manager at American Home Products in the over-the-counter drug division. Prior to that, he oversaw securities processing automation and IT product development at The Bank of New York.

Mr. Nolen received a BA from Yale University and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
